Due to the extremely small ring diameter, these chain hanches could then be produced from steel with a thickness of only 1 mm, without losing their strength.We abbreviate this type of braid RM (Roman Maille)Since it was already very popular with Celts and Romans (Hamata).This ring-armored platoon was, however, in use throughout the Late Middle Ages.
