Description
Spanish Castilla and Leon Breastplate of Fluer de Lys by Marto of Toledo Spain is an One-piece breastplate covering the fore trunk. This model breast plate was typical of the Spanish armory of the 16th century and was mainly worn by foot soldiers. This handcrafted steel breast plate is enriched by brass plated riveted metal sheet ornated by some figures in relief: two fleur de lys and a central oval depicting the coat-of-arms of the Castilla and Leon region of Spain. The breastplate was fastened to the body through leather belts that cross themselves on the back.
