Brass telescope, pirate telescope with spy glass & leather case. This is Solid brass 3 draw leather sheathed field telescope in antique finish. It was also called the ‘Tourist’ and is based on the old War Office Signaling model.This telescope features leather sheathed hand stitched covering tapered barrel, including the protective end caps, which are attached to the shoulder carry strap. It is engraved “J. Scott London 1753 ” on the first draw. It measures 7.5” closed, 20″ open with sunshade extended, a quality telescope weighing approx. – 575 gm., and a pleasure to use.
