Description
Late 14th Century 18g Medieval Arm Guard Armor Costume By Nauticalmart This armor set includes the vambrace, rerebrace, and couter riveted together to make one piece. It is replicated after armor used in the late 14th century. Vambraces or forearm guards are tubular or gutter defenses for the forearm worn as part of a suit of plate armor. The bracers come hinged to create a large cuff around the forearm for added protection. A rerebrace is a piece of armor designed to protect the upper arms just above the elbow and the couter is the piece that protects the elbow from blows. This set is constructed of 18 gauge steel and fully functional. Leather straps with brass buckles hold the pieces on. Don’t forget to wear a gambeson underneath to protect from pinching and chaffing. Each part has been riveted together making this set string and durable. Polished and oiled the late 14th Century Medieval Arm Armor is ready to complete your suit today.
